NK TEHNOLOĢIJA has finalized the design & manufacturing stages of the new custom Tilting Spreader for a client in Poland. The project as every tilting spreader project is close to being one of a kind. The project specified challenges for the design team, but the team was up to the task.
Our engineering team was able to overcome these challenges, and produce a design that allows for the Tilting Spreader to be used with multiple varying sizes of custom client containers. This reinforced the adaptability of the Tilting Spreader, our ability to delivery Custom Engineering Solutions, and accommodate to specific client requests. This project involved close cooperation between the client and NK TEHNOLOĢIJA’s team.
The project is in the commissioning stage, during which our experienced engineers will travel to the Client’s site, where they will perform final fine tuning, and will provide invaluable training. The result of this stage will be successful equipment tests and a happy customer.

NKT has completed the supply, installation and adaptation works for an existing client operating a Cleveland Cascades chute, by adding a trimmer addition for grain loading utilizing a ship loader supplied by NKT earlier. This adaptation allows the client to stay competetive in the current market and continue to provide excellent bulk material transshipment services to their clients.
NKT has been awarded a contract for the supply of 2 Custom Tilting Spreaders. Under the scope NKT will design, adapt, manufacture and handover modified tilting spreaders tailored to the client’s specific needs.
With the help of NKT, a long-term project for the overhaul of a crane at the Riga Hydroelectric Power Station was carried out.
The scope of work included repair of the crane metal structures, repair of crane gearboxes with replacement of bearings, replacement of the load cable, manufacturing, and replacement of crane movement wheels. The crane was completely repainted, and the client received a 15-year warranty for the works.
The project has been successfully completed. The crane passed all tests and was put into operation.
NK TECHNOLOGIA is an official partner of the German company ARDELT (Kranbau Eberswalde), the world leader in the production of gantry cranes, has received permission to manufacture and service the updated PELIKAN 500, 600 and 800 hydraulic cranes.
NKT has completed a project for the supply of 8 tilting spreaders to Azerbaijan. The entire project from the start of the design to dispatching finished goods took 30 weeks. All spreaders were tested under load, after which they were partially disassembled and loaded onto transport for delivery to the customer.
NKT supplied 4 grabs for SOKOL cranes modernized in 2019.
The equipment was successfully delivered and installed on the cranes. The cranes have been tested and put into operation.
NK TEHNOLOGIJA executed mechanical and electrical assembly of 2 TUKAN portal cranes into large parts, ready for shipping to the client.
At the end of August NKT began the mechanical and electrical pre-assembly of 2 TUKAN portal cranes into 2 parts for the Haifa port. The pre-assembled parts will be ready for shipping to port of Haifa in a way that final installation works require the least amount of time and effort.
NKT has completed the commissioning of the SLSRS-2000 shiploading complex, consisting of 4 stationary ship loaders. The complex has successfully handled its first tonnes of material and is beginning regular operation.
NKT has completed the manufacturing and pre-assembly stage of the project. The pre-assembled parts have been loaded onto ships and are en route to their final destination for commissioning.
NKT has begun design & engineering works for the SLSRS-2000 shiploading complex, consisting of 4 stationary shiploaders. The project entails turnkey commissioning.
NK TEHNOLOGIJA has successfully completed a full assembly of TUKAN portal crane supplied by Kocks Ardelt Kranbau Gmbh.
Now the new slewing crane TUKAN allows the Port to improve and widen its processing capabilities.
The first trains have arrived at the brand-new railway hopper wagon unloading facility at “Man-Tess” terminal, located at the Free Port of Riga.
The company NK TEHNOLOGIJA resided in Latvia put this modern dry bulk handling facility into operation, enabling to increase considerably a throughput capacity of the existing railway unloading station.
Now the station is capable to handle all types of the railways rolling stock, dedicated to dry bulk commodities transportation. Due to the underground in-take hoppers and the installed protection covers, this facility can be operated in all-weather conditions. The modern facility allows handling a wide range of dry bulk commodities.
